Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information ischilesafe.com collects (very little), what third-party services we use that may collect information (Google AdSense), and what rights you have regarding that information.
Information we collect
We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) on the server side. ischilesafe.com is a fully static site: all pages are pre-rendered HTML files served by Cloudflare Pages. There is no login, no registration, no user accounts, and no server-side form processing. We do not store IP addresses, names, email addresses, or any other personal data in any database operated by us.
The Contact page includes a mailto form. When you submit it, your email client sends the message directly to our address. We receive the message in our email inbox; we do not log or store it elsewhere.
Cookies and advertising — Google AdSense
This site uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google AdSense is an advertising service provided by Google LLC. When advertisements are active, Google AdSense may:
- Set cookies in your browser to identify you across websites and serve personalised advertisements based on your browsing history and interests.
- Collect data such as your IP address, browser type, and pages you visit, in accordance with Google's own privacy practices.
- Use the DoubleClick cookie (or equivalent) to measure ad performance and manage ad frequency.
Google's use of advertising cookies is governed by Google's Privacy Policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy .
You can opt out of Google's personalised advertising by visiting adssettings.google.com , or by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on . You may also opt out of interest-based advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance or the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance .
Cookie consent banner: When advertising is active, a cookie consent banner is displayed before any advertising cookies are set. You may accept or reject the use of advertising cookies. Rejecting cookies does not affect your access to the content on this site; you will see placeholder spaces where advertisements would appear.
Third-party analytics
We do not currently use Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics service. If we add analytics in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before that service becomes active.
Cloudflare
This site is served by Cloudflare Pages, Cloudflare's static hosting platform. Cloudflare may log basic request metadata (IP address, request path, HTTP headers) for performance and security purposes, in accordance with Cloudflare's Privacy Policy . We do not have access to Cloudflare's raw request logs.
Data retention and your rights
Because we do not collect personal data ourselves, we cannot provide access to, correct, or delete data on your behalf from our systems — there is none. For data held by Google AdSense or Cloudflare, please contact those services directly via the links above.
